Based upon our understanding of Scripture as a tool for healing, the Community of Saint Matthew the Martyr is called to work proactively toward a just and peaceful society that follows in the footsteps of Christ, welcoming individuals of all persuasions and points of view and providing worship, education and support in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
